Arlene D. Clark, 72, of Westminster
Arlene Doris Clark, 72, of Westminster, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at Carroll
Hospice’s Dove House.
Born June 18, 1937, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Doris Brooke Wicklein
Blottenberger, of Ocean City, and the late Walter Anderson Blottenberger. She
was the wife of M. “Glenn” Clark Sr., her husband of 53 years.
She was a 1955 graduate of Towson High School. She retired after 20 years of
service from the Carroll County Times in the Human Resources Department.
She enjoyed cross-stitching and knitting. She was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband, are children and spouse Holly
and Donald Dull, of Hanover, Pa., M. “Glenn” Clark Jr., of Baltimore, and Laura
Lee Clark, of Hampstead; and brothers Wayne Arthur Blottenberger, of York
Springs, Pa., and Bruce Brooke Blottenberger, of Ocean City.
She was predeceased by a brother, Walter Rodger Blottenberger.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pritts
Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the
Rev. David Bare, Carroll Hospice chaplain, officiating. Interment will be in
Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster.
